I think that the opposition has the authorities and figures, whether political, to nominate them for presidential candidates. We must not hold an empty session, but with concrete proposals, possibly negotiated, to show the citizens that we want a president above the parties and that it brings a new approach to the institution of the president. If we continue the discussions endlessly, we will go to an empty session, personally but also the opposition, we must not become part of a farce process, to go to the fourth and fifth round.
This is my judgment, I am convinced that what we have to choose is the proposal of candidacies, regardless of the behavior of the majority. I have evaluated and I look at all the requirements, but today the criteria are personified in the person we will propose. We should not waste time with debates, but follow the candidacy. And we have the opportunities to do that, at least we fulfill our obligations as the opposition.
