Specialists for the Investigation of Crimes in the Elbasan Police Commissariat, following the investigative actions for the situation created after the match Partizani-Tirana, held on 07.05.2022, in the stadium “Elbasan Arena”, made the identification, capture and arrest in flagrante delicto citizens:
EV, 29 years old resident in Lapraka and ED, 21 years old, resident in Yzberisht, Tirana.
These citizens, in cooperation with other citizens who had entered the stadium “Elbasan Arena”, according to the rules, to watch the football match, at the end of the match, have destroyed part of the stadium benches and have violently opposed the employees of Police.
Investigative actions continue to fully document this case, identify and escort other persons involved in the destruction of stadium benches who did not obey the orders of police officers.
The materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance in Elbasan, for further procedural actions, for the criminal offenses “Destruction of property” and “Opposition of a public order police officer”.
The State Police appeals to all fans and leaders of football teams to take measures to prevent acts of violence against property and opposition of police officers, as the State Police is determined to bring to justice all of them who perform actions contrary to the law.
