One of Russia’s most popular diplomats is taking an unprecedented approach to improving her government’s “not so positive” reputation in the West.
Maria Zakharova – Vladimir Putin’s war spokesperson, has shared a video of herself eating strawberries in the Telegram network, not in a diplomatic style but in an erotic seduction style.
Standing in the garden of her home, the 46-year-old is seen putting fresh fruit in her mouth and then biting into it.
Dressed in a floral dress and her blonde hair tied with a red ribbon, she looks into the camera suggestively and smiles.
The 10-second footage is repeated several times for several minutes to the soundtrack of the popular Russian folk song ‘Kalinka’.
As she shared the video on Saturday, Miss Zakharova commented: ‘I’m taking my pick.’
The video has received more than 556,000 views and 3,874 comments. Some women complained that the footage was ‘too sexual’.
The press chief of the foreign ministry is considered by many to be the next foreign minister.
Zakharova often posts photos of herself and her garden flowers on social media, in addition to official interviews and comments in the Russian press.
