Prime Minister Edi Rama has just arrived at the EU summit in Brussels, where he told reporters that he does not expect the issue in Bulgaria to be resolved today.
Rama reiterated that Bulgaria, a NATO country, has taken two other alliance countries hostage, Albania and northern Macedonia.
“I told you that despite the hasty optimism of some, I do not expect anything to be resolved in Bulgaria, but in the meantime, if it is resolved, it will be a motive to breathe a sigh of relief from this hostage situation in the NATO country. “Both NATO countries at the height of a hot war on the border of Europe and in the eyes of 26 other countries that stand and see like stars,” Rama told reporters in Brussels.
