Rama sent a message to the candidates for the SP branches: Take the process seriously!

He advised all candidates to take this seriously and present their platforms.

“I do not want to prolong because this is the day of the three candidates here to face you and the New Election Commission in the Socialist Party. I just want to take this opportunity to tell all those who are waiting according to the calendar of these elections to have their presentations and confrontations, to prepare as best and as seriously as possible because this is an open competition of on the other hand, all the communities of the Socialist Party, in each of its branches, should make as many proposals as possible so that the election is as wide as possible.

I am very encouraged by what I have been able to see so far but in the distance, while today I am here to follow this process closely, together with the deputies of Elbasan and all of you and I am very glad that it is given to us all together the opportunity to be involved in a process like this, which aims to give a new impetus to the leadership of the SP throughout the territory, which aims to renew once again as we have done in the past but with a mechanism new, the structure of the Socialist Party as a whole. Which aims to pave the way after the process of selection of the party chairman in all municipal units, in the same way, but also with the help and coordination together with the party chairmen who will be elected for each municipality.

In closing I just want to make a supplement after what the Secretary General said who spoke of the party chairman as a father and when he spoke of a father, I was looking at Ermira who is there as a candidate and I think that needs to be clarified because we have in this process girls and boys, women and men and not only that but we have agreed in the leadership of the Socialist party that wherever we have quality candidates and who deserve support to contribute towards the party, who are both men and women woman, both boy and girl, then we will have joint leadership of the party, as we have done at the level of organizations and I am sorry that the joint leadership of the party at the level of organizations is still unfulfilled in a large part of organizations, as a co-direction in gender equality. Where this has happened, we have seen that the results have been significant, so Ermira can not become the father of the party but definitely that if her presentation will be appropriate for party members and the commission, she will be the chairwoman of the party. But if Ermira and one of the two friends who are there will perform convincingly, then in Elbasan, based on the proposal of course of the Commission, if this is the case, we will have a joint leadership of the Socialist Party. This is for a clarification, because we promote gender equality at all levels, we have seen the hair because the more women and girls are involved, the better the party affairs have gone and therefore it is important not to forget never and not to call the party chairman always a necessarily babe figure.
