Socialist MP Erion Brace, who has repeatedly shown the problems of agriculture in the country, has expressed concern about the increase in prices of raw materials for farmers.
Fruit and vegetable prices have risen, says Brace, but farmers have not changed the price. Also, farmers buy raw materials three times more expensive, such as chemical fertilizers, where 1 kg of urea or dap costs 110 lek, but prices for wheat or corn are very low and so they come at a loss, according to the analysis of the deputy.
He addresses the government, which he has called in an interpellation in parliament, as he says that setting the price for these products is her duty.

INTERPELANCE IN THE ASSEMBLY #QEVERINE!
FOOD / VEGETABLE PRICES FRESH FRUITS HAVE INCREASED;
BUT NOT FROM THE FARMER!
Meanwhile;
PRICES OF RAW MATERIALS IN AGRICULTURE ARE TRIPLED!
The farmer’s costs have increased, the prices of his products NO!
The ratio between the price of inputs and the price of a farmer’s product is terribly unfair:
1 kg URE costs 110 lek,
but 1 kg of WHEAT costs 30 lek;
1 kg DAP costs 110 lek,
but 1 kg of MISER costs up to 38 lek;
1 kg of NITRAT costs 90 lek,
but 1 kg of TOMATO (the best) costs 50 lek!
THE RIGHT PRICES OF RAW MATERIALS, BUT ALSO THE FARMER’S PRODUCTS, ARE THE DUTY OF THE GOVERNMENT!
