Albania, along with the United States, Britain, France, Ireland and Norway, have accused Russia of war crimes in Ukraine, as official Paris says Vladimir Putin was not really interested in negotiating a peace deal.
The six countries challenged Russia ahead of a UN Security Council meeting, and British Foreign Secretary Liz Truss said there was now “very, very strong evidence” of war crimes committed by Russian forces.
““Vladimir Putin is behind them.” tha Truss. “Ultimately it is a matter for the international criminal court to decide who or not is a war criminal and for us to bring the evidence.“.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken said he agreed with Joe Biden that war crimes had been committed in Ukraine, adding that US experts were in the process of documenting and assessing possible war crimes.
