Russian forces fired on a bus, killing five and wounding six Ukrainians in the Kharkiv region.
According to Pavlo Kyrylenko, head of the Donetsk Regional Administration, all the victims were residents of Toretsk, a town near the front line in Oblast, according to Ukrainian media.
The fighting reached the streets of the Ukrainian capital on Saturday after the country’s army tried to stop the advance of Russian forces in various places. The attacks have met with strong resistance from the Ukrainian military, which has managed to repel Russian forces on several occasions.
Kiev is being attacked from all sides while there are still no figures for the number of Russian soldiers killed. So far it is reported that 198 Ukrainians, including three children, have been killed since the start of the war.
