“Russia’s Satan wipes out all of England” / Pentagon downplays: No threat to us

Russian President Vladimir Putin appeared on Russian television as military officials informed him that the missile had been fired from Plesetsk, in the northwest, and had hit a target on the Kamchatka Peninsula in the Far East.

“Sarmat is the most powerful missile with the longest range of action and manages to destroy the most distant targets in the world, which will significantly increase the combat power of the strategic nuclear forces of our state“, Said the Russian Ministry of Defense. The head of Russia’s space agency, Dmitry Rogozin, provocatively called Wednesday’s test with the rocket “a gift to NATO.”

But Pentagon spokesman John Kirby downplayed Russia’s test with a new intercontinental ballistic missile, which the Kremlin says will be at the heart of its nuclear strategy.

“Russia duly notified the United States of its obligations under the new START agreement that it was planning to conduct this test with intercontinental ballistic missiles. Such tests are routine. It was not a surprise. “We did not consider the test a threat to the United States or its allies.”said Kirby.

Putin said the weapon was unique and would make those who threaten Russia “think twice.” Satan ”from the West. President Putin said it could penetrate any possible missile defense system.

Putin called this “a major, significant event” for the Russian defense industry. He said that “Sarmat” will guarantee Russia’s security from external threats and “makes them, at the height of furious, aggressive rhetoric, try to threaten our country, to think twice.” Russia relies on nuclear-powered intercontinental ballistic missiles, including the Sarmat missile, for its strategy of deterring an attack from another country.

The United States has its own nuclear-capable ballistic missiles, but recently canceled a test with this type of weapon to avoid escalating tensions.
