Some students have marched this Tuesday towards the prime minister where they are protesting for the sixth day against the increase in the prices of hydrocarbons and basket products.
Although fewer in number, the protesters point out that the government’s social resistance package is not the right measure, as the rest of the population has been ignored.
They have decided to meet every day of the week at 17:00 in front of the Prime Minister, while Saturday will be a national march.
This revolt of citizens came after the immediate rise in the price of food products and hydrocarbons as a result of the war in Ukraine.
At today’s meeting, the National Hydrocarbon Management Board decided that the price of oil and gasoline be sold at 211 lek per liter.
This Tuesday morning a group of students with a megaphone invited all the young people to gather at 16:30 to march towards the prime minister, with their desire to bring back the 2018 protests. A small part of them boycotted the lesson.
