To rekindle the passion for football is the promise made by the presidential candidate in the Albanian Football Federation, Dritan Shakohoxha.
He believes that it is time for the focus from professional football to take the turn towards that of amateurs, because talents are discovered from an early age.
“My goal is small children. They are the basis of football in Albania. The conclusion then is the professional football team.
But what is the new vision of the well-known sports commentator to bring Albanians closer to football?
“We have 8 associations which I think should be returned to the Federation where, in addition to equal conditions, these teams should build their complex.”
From Shakohoxha’s point of view, the regional associations should be transformed into federations and their number should be increased to 11, where each Federation should have independence in management.
