Hundreds of citizens of Shkodra have come out to protest this afternoon against the price increase.
In protest of the oil, they have decided to block traffic by turning off vehicles in the city and demanding the government’s response.
With banners in hand, they have also demanded a reduction in the prices of basket products, which have increased in recent days.
There were also protests in other cities such as Tirana, Durres, Lushnje, Mirdita, Berat, Korca and Prrenjas, as oil has risen over the past week, an increase which is also reflected in the basket foods.
