The brother of the British actress of Albanian origin was killed by a barrage of bullets in front of his luxury home in central London in December.
A Swedish professional who had come to Britain to carry out the mafia execution of his rival in the underworld, was found guilty today by the British jury, writes the daily Daily Mail.
Flamur Beqiri, 36, the father of two children, whose sister Misse Beqiri played in the British serial ‘Real Housewives Of Cheshire’, was shot ten times with an automatic pistol in front of his wife and two-year-old son.
Security camera footage shows him coming home at Christmas time, with his wife handcuffed after a dinner at the restaurant, where he was waiting for 24-year-old Anis Hemissi, who shot him in the back to death.
The victim’s wife, Debora Krasniqi, is seen screaming and holding the boy in her arms, while her husband falls to the ground with at least eight bullets in the body.
Hemissi, a professional mixed boxing athlete, had conducted a survey two days ago disguised as a garbage collector, with a light vest, sunglasses and a face mask.
But prosecutors said Hemissi had made some mistakes in his execution plan, such as using a female bicycle on reconnaissance missions.
This was because in Sweden such bicycles are considered ‘unisex’ but in Britain they made it stand out.
The killer used the bicycle in his clothing as a garbage collector and in one case was confronted by a resident who began to suspect as he was clearing both public roads and an area inside private property.
Beqiri and his wife Debora Krasniqi
Beqiri and his wife Krasniqi, who have made a 9 950,000 cash payment to buy their 7 1.7m house in the Chelsea area, were married less than a year ago on Lake Como, Italy, and their photos were published in Grace Ormonde magazine.
Viktima Beqiri, who had dual Swedish and Albanian citizenship, claimed to be a music producer, being re-involved in a wide network of drug trafficking from Spain, to the Netherlands and then to Scandinavia, since 2007.
He had been arrested several times in Europe and is believed to have settled in England ‘to break away from the underworld’. Recently he is reportedly more concerned about his safety.
Hemissi was found guilty today of murder after a two-month trial.
His Swedish colleague Estevan Pino-Munizaga, 35, escaped murder charge.
The British Clifford Rollox, from north London, and the Dutchman Claude Isaac Castor, were found guilty of obstructing the course of justice after they agreed to clean the apartment where the killers were staying.
Beqiri has been a serious figure in organized crime in Sweden and is the latest victim of the drug gangs’ fight for dominance.
His close associate Naief Adawi, who had also come to Lonjerd from Sweden, was jailed for eight years in Denmark for armed robbery there, when about 9m euros were stolen from a valuables truck.
The victim was at the wedding of his sister Misse Beqiri with the goalkeeper of the Manchester football team, Anders Lindegaard, and there he would meet his future wife Debora Krasniqi.
Adawi and Beqiri’s close friends were the leaders of a Swedish drug gang led by Daniel Petrovski, 38, who was jailed for five years in the summer for drug crimes in Sweden.
Their gang was in bloody conflict with the network led by Amir Mekky, the 24-year-old arrested in Dubai in June 2020. // Daily Mail //
