5700 people work in the media sector in our country. During the two years of the pandemic, 19 employees lost their lives, 11 of them journalists.
From October 5 last year, sports journalism and not only that, will miss the well-known journalist and commentator Costa Grillo, who passed away due to Covid, at the age of 59.
Tami Kona: He is a man who will be missed as a broadcast and we will miss the way he gave life to the commentary of a sports match. I worked with him since ’92 -’93, we have been almost inseparable, so for almost 3 decades. We have not left the place without going together, we have seen together over 10 finals of the highest event such as the Champions League.
We did not leave national team matches without going. Doing the sports analysis of a match, talking about Tirana, Partizan, is probably easy, but it is very difficult to talk about a man with whom you start and end the day. That’s because I miss him so much, I miss him so much. Of course Costa’s loss is most felt by his wife and 2 children. He had many friends, but Costa and I were more than friends, we were brothers.
Shkodra journalist Lek Plani, sang while in intubation, as if to give hope to himself and others, but unfortunately lost the battle for life.
