COVID19/ Ministry of Health: 2730 tests, 1158 infected citizens, two deaths and 1195 recovered in the last 24 hours
Due to the increase in the number of citizens affected by Covid19, the Ministry of Health again calls on citizens not to neglect the anticovid vaccination, especially in this period of increased contacts, due to movements during the summer season.
Anyone over the age of 12 can be vaccinated at health centers across the country. Also, the Ministry of Health appeals to all vaccinated citizens to go to the health centers to be vaccinated with the booster dose.
Anti-COVID vaccines reduce the chance of infection and largely avoid hospitalizations and fatalities.
If you have signs of illness or have had contact with a person affected by Covid19, isolate yourself immediately and contact your family doctor to be tested as soon as possible or call the National Emergency at the unique number 127.
We inform you about the situation in the last 24 hours, as follows: 2,730 tests have been performed, of which 1,158 citizens have tested positive for COVID-19, in these municipalities:
480 in Tirana, 73 in Durrës, out of 40 citizens in Vlora, Saranda, 39 in Berat, 35 in Kamëz, 34 in Fier, 31 in Lushnje, 29 in Korçë, out of 23 citizens in Shkodër, Elbasan, 21 in Lezhë, 18 in Krujë, from 15 citizens in Kavajë, Gjirokastër, from 14 citizens in Dimal, Kuçovo, from 13 citizens in Vorë, Divjakë, Mallakastër, from 12 citizens in Kurbin, Roskovec, from 11 citizens in Dibër, Patos, Tepelën, Belsh, from 10 citizens in Skrapar, Gramsh, 9 in Shijak, out of 8 citizens in Vau i Dejës, Tropoje, Devoll, out of 7 citizens in Pukë, Pogradec, out of 5 citizens in Malësi e Madhe, Bulqizë, Selenica, Himarë, Delvinë, 4 in Maliq, from 3 citizens in Fushë Arrëz, Has, from 1 citizen in Kukës, Klos, Finiq, Libohovë, Përmet.
There are 9,690 active citizens with Covid19 throughout the country.
Currently, 35 patients are receiving treatment at the COVID3 hospital. In the last 24 hours, there have been two deaths from Sars-Cov2: a 71-year-old citizen from Berat, a 96-year-old citizen from Tirana.
1,195 citizens have recovered during the last 24 hours, bringing the number of recoveries to 290,710 since the beginning of the epidemic.
