Ivi Kaso, the legal representative of the group for the re-establishment of the Democratic Party spoke to “Top Talk” about the latest developments in the opposition camp.
Last night, the PD leadership met with the commanding chairman Enkelejd Alibeaj, who called on the re-establishment group to suspend all political activities as a sign of the party’s unification.
Asked if he could overturn the decision to recognize the December 11th Assembly, Kaso said they do not know the internal conviction created in the court, but can only speak with facts and evidence.
Dyrnjaja: I am removing you from your position, from all the starting points you have taken for the organization of the assembly until the submission of the file to the court. If you were a judge, you would have the opportunity to overturn this political act of the Assembly. Is there dough to knock it down or is it subjective?
Case: I am answering something that is interesting in our Code when it comes to court decisions. Very few know that the court decides based on the facts, the evidence reported by law and the internal conviction created in the court. I know to say that facts, evidence and law are there and are uncontested by anyone. The internal conviction that is created to the court is something that no one knows, but we have it in the law, the courts judge and decide in the Republic of Albania, in addition to facts and evidence and internal conviction, so for this part I do not know how to express myself but I know how to guarantee the law, the statute, the facts and the evidence.
