Shkodra police arrested the perpetrator of an injury that had been declared wanted for days.
Elfat Salihi was wanted because on the evening of April 19 he shot and wounded Edis Reçaj, in the Perash neighborhood of Shkodra.
The wounded man with a bullet in the knee, had gone to the hospital himself asking for help and they notified the police. In his testimony on the premises of the hospital, in front of the police, the 28-year-old had said that he did not know the person who shot him.
“The perpetrator was wearing a black hood on his head, came from behind and injured my leg and left quickly. “I have no conflicts with any person or problems with other people”, declared the 28-year-old.
But the Shkodra Police suspected that the two persons were in the same car talking and that is where the event took place.
The injured Reçaj is not a person with a criminal record, but it turns out that he is the nephew of Edmir Alia, executed in 2014 / the wanted person was hiding in a hotel in the neighborhood “Mark Lula”, whose owner is now under criminal prosecution because he registered the client.
