The head of the Association of Flour Producers, Adi Haxhiymëri, says that Albanians will not be left without bread, as wheat importers have entered the European market.

We are looking at other options like: Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary. Serbia is questionable because it has blocked exports for two or three days, let’s see what I will do in the coming days. Why block export? There are two reasons she has either joined the situation, or is keeping reserves for her country so that there is no price increase. ”
Currently, one kilogram of flour costs 3 lek more due to the increase in the price of electricity and gas, in the coming days it is expected to be decided whether we will have increases in the price of wheat.
