Durrës Appeals Prosecutor, Ludovik Dodaj was dismissed from office this Thursday, by decision of the Special Appeals Board.
During the presentation of the final conclusions, the Public Commissioner stated that even after the evidence presented, the subject of the reassessment failed to prove the opposite of the complaint for wealth criterionbeing in the conditions of insufficient declaration and in the conditions of the lack of legal resources to justify the wealth.
In 2020, the Public Commissioner asked the College to dismiss Dodaj for under-declaration of assets.

The panel of judges of the Special Appeal Board, consisting of Natasha Mulaj chairperson, Albana Shtylla relator, Ina Rama, Rezarta Schuetz, Sokol Çomo members, announced the decision on case (JR) no. 35/2020, dated 11.09.2020, which pertains to the appeal of the Public Commissioner against the decision of the Independent Qualification Commission no. 255, dated 08.06.2020, related to the subject of the revaluation Ludovik Dodaj.
At the end of the trial, the panel of judges, based on Article 66, point 1, letter “b” of Law No. 84/2016, “On the transitional re-evaluation of judges and prosecutors in the Republic of Albania”, by a majority of votes, decided:
1. Change of decision no. 255, dated 08.06.2020 of the Independent Qualification Commission, deciding the dismissal from duty of the subject of the revaluation Ludovik Dodaj.
2. This decision is final and has immediate effect.
It was announced today, in Tirana, on 14.07.2022.
