The tourists who fell into the abyss of Valbona are transported to the hospital, one of them lost his life

Sources for “Top Channel” suggest that the injured were transported to the Tropoja hospital, after several hours as the terrain was very difficult to intervene.

Earlier, guide Zef Gjini told Top Channel that he was the first to arrive at the scene and found a dead man and two young couples at the bottom of the abyss who were in good health.

The tourist who lost his life tried to jump to the other side of the trail. As a result, his foot slipped and he fell into the abyss, where there is also the presence of snow. He has changed his life in the moment. While the other two are traumatized by his death.

Details from the road that tourists crossed:

The three tourists left today from Thethi to cross on foot towards Valbona. After arriving at the Valbona Pass, due to the high altitude, they encountered snow, still unripe. In these conditions, the pedestrian path and the paths for passers-by have been with the presence of ice and snow, so the tourists have chosen to pass through a path that by the inhabitants is used only by horses in summer.
