Police in Gjirokastra have detained a 48-year-old citizen from Delvina for smuggling goods. He was stopped at the entrance of the city of Gjirokastra with a truck transporting 16 tons of various fruits unaccompanied by the relevant documentation or customs declaration.

Also, in relation to this case were referred the materials in charge of the citizen Th. K., 39 years old, resident in Gjirokastra, on duty at the Kakavije Border Crossing Point, for the criminal offense “Abuse of duty”, as investigative verifications have shown that he did not exercise control over this vehicle.
