Police suggest that based on information gathered on the operational road, two citizens had adapted an environment in the village of Derven, for the cultivation of cannabis by means of lamps
In the framework of the operation “Derveni”, the citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto: Ll. L., 57 years old and EL, 24 years old, (father and son), resident in the village of Derven.
They had adapted the stall for cultivating narcotic plants, by means of lamps, where inside it the police found 316 suspected cannabis seedlings cultivated in plastic vases, bulbs, various electrical appliances and aspirators.
Also, from the control exercised in the apartment of these citizens, the police seized 1,822,000 ALL and 37,000 Euros, suspected of having benefited from the criminal activity of cultivation and trafficking of narcotics.
The materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office of the Kruja Judicial District, for further investigations, for the criminal offenses “Cultivation of narcotic plants” committed in collaboration and “Theft of electricity”.
