Two young people from Tirana have fallen into the hands of the police in Gjirokastra, after being accused of helping illegal immigrants cross the border, in exchange for profit.
The police informs that in the framework of the police operation “ROAD GUARD 10”, the citizens FT, 21 years old and DH, 24 years old, resident in Tirana, were arrested in flagrante delicto.
On the road axis Kakavije-Gjirokastër, in the place called “Vanistër”, the Traffic Police services have made a stop sign to the vehicle driven by the citizen FT, who did not obey the order of the employees to stop.
The police chased the vehicle and in the place called “River Bridge”, Gjirokastra, they caught the citizens FT and DH, who were transporting 7 illegal immigrants from MENA countries, for profit.
Their vehicle and two mobile phones were seized by the police.
The materials in charge of the above citizens were forwarded to the Prosecution at the Gjirokastra Court of First Instance, for further action.
