Korça farmers this year expect to receive less produce from their lands.
Rising prices of agricultural inputs have limited them to the treatment of agricultural crops. Influenced by prices and production costs they are being forced to dump less chemical fertilizers even though according to them they will produce less and probably not with the same quality.
According to farmers, if a kv of nitrate a year ago cost 4 thousand lek, now this price goes to 10 thousand new lek. Urea and Dapi have also seen an increase in farmers even in the face of an uncertain market preferring to reduce their spending.
Proper sampling of agricultural crops affects some aspects of production as on the one hand it causes a decrease in yield and on the other hand it also reduces the quality of production.
