A 28-year-old man identified as Endrit Jolldashi has been arrested by the Tirana police after he tried to burn the vehicle owned by UKT in the Municipality of Tirana.
As part of the police operation codenamed “Oktan”, the young man accused of the criminal offenses “Destruction of property by fire”, “Unauthorized production, possession, purchase or sale of cold steel” and “Production and possession of cold steel” were arrested. without the permission of hunting and sports weapons ”.
Based on the evidence gathered by the specialists for the Investigation of Crimes in the Police Commissariat no. 1 it turned out that this citizen, on 25.03.2022, threw a bottle, suspected of fuel, under a vehicle owned by UKT in the Municipality of Tirana.
In the pictures it seems that he is riding a bicycle and on his back he has a bag in which he was carrying a bottle of gasoline.
During the physical and apartment search, the Police services found and seized as material evidence a cutting tool (knife), clothing suspected of being used during the commission of the crime, a plastic bottle filled with gasoline, a sport rifle (naval ), a bicycle and two mobile phones.
The materials were forwarded to the Prosecution at the Tirana Court of First Instance, for further procedural actions.
