Regarding the meeting of the parliamentary group, convened today by Mr. Alibeaj, in the capacity of deputy chairman of the group, I declare that it is null.
It is null for two reasons:
First:
Mr. Alibeaj has the right of Rama and Balla, but he does not have the right of the Democrats who dismissed him in the Assembly on April 30.
Secondly, the meeting of the group is convened by the Presidency of the Group and not by an MP, even if he is known by Rama as a representative of the group.
Therefore, from this moment on, in the following days, I request the convening of the meeting of the Group Presidency, to discuss and decide on the meeting of the Parliamentary Group.
The PD parliamentary group cannot convene whenever and whenever Rama-Balla requests it.
We can not go after Rama’s chariot whatever look it has.
This is not about a boycott.
The time of boycott and bargaining is over.
The political position in relation to the issue of the election of the President is decided by the National Council, as the highest political decision-making body after the Assembly and is reflected in the position of the Parliamentary Group.
This is the statutory way of functioning of the Democratic Party.
