This year, the Sala Valley, which was also declared a Protected Area, is hosting three times as many tourists as in previous years.
The area has developed very quickly adapting to the high number of visitors, with accommodation but also with fun activities from canyons, zipline to the traditions that the area has, horseback riding, while folklore music cannot be missing.
“It is very beautiful. The water is very blue. Everything here amazes you. After all, it is the most beautiful place I have ever seen. The road was a little scary to be honest,” said the tourist.
“A friend of ours told us about this valley. It was a last minute surprise and worth it. We are having a lot of fun and having a great time. Everything is fantastic”, said another tourist.
Tourist operators request more support from the government for the development of tourism as they face many problems.
This tourist spot has never had electricity, so the four tourist operators of the area have decided to bring it themselves. Over 100 thousand euros is the investment they are making to get the energy from the nearest village.
