A Russian landing craft and two other support vehicles were attacked and damaged in the occupied Ukrainian port city of Berdiansk, Kiev authorities announced.
The Ukrainian military posted the footage this morning saying the Orsk warship had been hit by its forces, without giving details of what had caused the explosion or the apparent fire on board the vehicle.
Berdiansk is located west of the besieged port of Mariupol, which was attacked on the fourth day of the start of Russian advancement in Ukraine.
Russia says it has used it to transport equipment for its troops.
Earlier, Russian media portrayed the arrival of the Orsk warship in Berdyansk as a major event and as “the first time a Russian warship has docked there.
Drone footage filmed by Russian journalist Murad Gazdiev showed armored vehicles landing from the port of Orsk to be used to assist in army operations, the television report said.
The video posted today showed explosions and a fire in the port in question.
Officials said Orsk had been destroyed and the fire had spread to other ships and an ammunition depot in the port. The view also showed two boats sailing fast leaving the port.
