Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba is in Brussels for talks with NATO allies.
At a press conference with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, he said: “My agenda is very simple. It has only three dots in it. There are guns, guns and weapons.
“We know how to win, but without a steady and sufficient supply of all the weapons required by Ukraine, these victories will be accompanied by great sacrifices.”
“The more weapons we get and the sooner they arrive in Ukraine, the more human lives will be saved. “Cities and villages like Bucha will not be destroyed.”
“It may sound strange, but today weapons serve the purpose of peace,” he concluded.
He said Ukraine needs aircraft, vehicles and air defense systems from NATO allies.
Stoltenberg said he was confident that talks between NATO foreign ministers and Ukraine would address the need for more weapons.
He said the military alliance understands that Ukraine needs more air defense systems, anti-tank weapons and other types.
