During a press conference, US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin was asked if the conflict could spread beyond Ukraine, given the recent bombings in Moldova.
He has stated that the US is still investigating the cause of these explosions and said he would not like to see the war spread to other states.
He was also asked if he was concerned that there would be threats from Russia over nuclear weapons as a result of allies supplying heavy weapons to Ukraine.
The Secretary of Defense said that this kind of idea is very dangerous and totally useless and all parties will be lost in the end if there is a nuclear war. He added that America would never engage in such a war.
