Ukrainian Interior Minister Denys Monastyrskyy in a statement to the BBC, asked if the country was preparing for a more powerful Russian attack on Ukraine, including Kiev and other cities, he said:
“Every day the president asks me, every day we coordinate our efforts for the situation and what is happening and every day we answer that the situation is serious, but stable.
“Yes, indeed, the enemy sends more and more forces every day. But our armed forces are destroying everything that arrives in Kiev. Kyiv remains the site of the main blow… I understand that every day we are preparing for any scenario, including in Kiev. “It includes the territorial defense, the armed forces, the National Guard, the national police, the security service and the Directorate of Military Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense,” he said.
The minister further said that they have certain groups on the ground that find and catch the saboteurs.
“We are creating mobile groups to look for and catch saboteurs, saboteurs. We have up to 100 such active groups in Kiev, depending on the time of day. You can hear gunshots in the city [ndërsa ata veprojnë]. “Many people have been caught, our specialists are working,” he said.
