Two former political prisoners and human rights activists, Saimir Maloku and Daimir Maloku, have appealed to President Ilir Meta and the government to vaccinate 1,700 former political prisoners.
According to them almost all are over 70 years old, their immunity is low from prison suffering and dozens of them have passed away.
They addressed Top Channel, where according to them only in the hospital of Durrës, five of their comrades-in-arms died.

Please, in the name of God and Humanism, raise awareness of the government in order to vaccinate the 1,700 former political prisoners who are still alive and almost all over 70 years old. This is because their health immunity is low from prison suffering. This has been done throughout Eastern and Central Europe.
