25-year-old Erdis Rapi fatally hit his father, 52-year-old Dhori Rapi, in the head with a stick.
It is learned that the victim was shot with a stick that guarded the sheep. This morning he had just returned from Kumanovo, where he would receive a recommendation to hospitalize his son in the psychiatric hospital of Vlora.
Upon arriving home, the victim asked his son to look after the sheep. He objected and physically confronted his father in the backyard. After they were caught, he shot him in the back of the head with the stick that kept the sheep.
Relatives of the victim say that both the father and the son suffered from mental health problems.
Father and son have had conflicts before and 25-year-old Erdis Rapo has threatened him saying he would kill him.
According to relatives, the family lived in very difficult economic conditions.
The victim was the father of three sons, the perpetrator of the murder, a married man living in Greece and a 17-year-old. Meanwhile, the victim’s wife has been dead for about 4 years.
Police are investigating to fully clarify the circumstances of the event.
