A woman has been arrested for murder in the US after the mutilated body of a man was found in her home.
According to court documents, police came to the house where the incident took place on the morning of February 23 to check on 24-year-old probationer Taylor Schabusiness, who appeared to have removed her electronic monitoring bracelet.
But on the sidewalk of a house in Green Bay, Wisconsin, police uncovered macabre scenes between the skulls and the severed head of a man who had been thrown into a bucket.
They immediately arrested Schabusiness which now faces charges of first-degree murder, mutilation of the victim’s body and sexual assault.
Schabusiness told police that she and victim Shad Thyrion had used drugs, including methamphetamine, and that they were having sex when Thyrion was asphyxiated.
She then dismembered the body by placing the parts in different places of the house and in her vehicle.
The police statement said: “Schabusiness commented that she was paranoid and believed that drugs made her so.”
But her lawyer, Quinn Jolly, said: “She has been admitted to a psychiatric hospital several times with bipolar and psychotic disorders, but I’m surprised by the results of this report.”
Her trial is set to begin on July 5.
