The head of the Knitting Initiative, Endri Shabani has stated that he does not expect anything from the protest called by Sali Berisha on July 7, because according to him it is all political and not in the interest of Albanians.

He added that if Berisha really wanted a battle with Rama, it would be very easy for him, but according to him this is not the goal. Shabani said that they have the battle only for power, but for the Albanians they are together.
“These have changed places. We are there, on the boulevard protesting against them. I see them the same, they have the same reason why they love power and the same behavior. I do not believe that if we remove Rama we will bring Berisha, things will get better. These are a generation. Some of them have been classmates, behave the same, live in a neighborhood. They are practically more similar to each other than me. That’s why July 7th tells me nothing, but I’m in protest every day. Berisha is an MP, he has a group in parliament. would have been better managed if he had taken the battle with Rama seriously. We from abroad have tried to protest, we have asked for the transparency of the Transparency Board, next week the deadline expires and we have not received any response yet. This board has no transparency at all, we have taken cases to the SPAK and the court. We really want to solve them, Berisha, Basha, and Rama when he was in opposition do not want to solve these problems. They have a political game and bargaining. How is it possible that Rama, who is a great enemy of Berisha, could not investigate his wealth or vice versa. They are at war with each other for power, but in front of us they are togetherë ”, said Shabani.
