The bloc’s foreign ministers are expected to give the green light to sanctions against eight individuals from the Wagner Group and three others associated with the group. The measures include a travel ban, the freezing of all assets that the individuals in question have in the EU, but also a ban on cooperation with them by persons in the European Union.
