The Kremlin on Monday accused the European Union of backing Ukraine, saying arms supplies were dangerous and destabilizing for the country.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said the EU had a hostile attitude, while Russia, he said, was right in its efforts to demilitarize Ukraine.
Peskov declined to comment on the number of casualties suffered by Russian forces, or on President Vladimir Putin’s instructions to the nuclear prevention force.
The West has increased arms supplies to Ukraine to help it defend itself against a Russian invasion that Moscow calls a “special military operation” aimed at protecting civilians.
