Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov has said that Russia knows the route of the movement of Western weapons and that they will be targeted as soon as they arrive in Ukraine.
According to Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, Russia does not see itself at war with NATO. “NATO believes more in being at war with Russia,” Lavrov said in an interview with Al-Arabiya television. Russia also does not threaten with atomic weapons, Lavrov said, it is the Western media that exaggerates at this point. “We are not playing with an atomic war,” Lavrov was quoted as saying by Ria and Tass. Lavrov had recently warned of the danger of a third world war. Russia put on alert at the end of February, the threatening weapons, which was understood in the world as a threatening signal with the atomic arsenal.
According to Lavrov, Russia knows the ways in which the West will send weapons to Ukraine. These weapons will become the target of the attack “as soon as they reach the territory of Ukraine.” The Russian Foreign Minister reiterated what Russia calls a “special operation”, but the West’s offensive war in Ukraine, that this will end once all goals are achieved. These are the protection of the civilian population in eastern Ukraine and the guarantee that “no threats to this population and to Russia come from the territory of Ukraine. This is all.”

US: Russian offensive not as planned
But according to the US assessment, the Russian offensive is not going according to the plan envisaged by the Kremlin. “We believe (…) that those with what they want to get to the Donbas are behind the plans,” said a senior Defense Department official in Washington. “We believe that with the complete siege of the Ukrainian troops, they should have made more progress.” Ukrainian troops are defending themselves very effectively against the advance of Russian troops.
Even the Ukrainian president, Volodymyr Zelensky, assessed in the last video the situation in the East, that “we are hitting the occupier in all directions from where he is trying to enter. The situation in the Kharkiv region is difficult, but our army and secret service have achieved significant tactical successes. Zelensky did not provide details./DW
