Before officially taking office as President, Bajram Begaj has started a tour of meetings with his predecessors. The President-elect held a meeting today with former Presidents, Alfred Moisiu, Rexhep Meidani and Bamir Topi.
“I want us, together, to gather fraternally for the affairs and challenges of our homeland. Time passes quickly, no one is eternal and no state duty is infinite. But the precious lessons of those who have gone before us from our path should be kept in mind as best we can, and when you are fortunate enough to have them near you, then you can err less. It is a great honor for me to have such advisors. ” Begaj is said to have spoken at the meeting.
