Fortunately in Albania this is not reflected in the young, except for the increase in the number of adults. Virologists around the world have already turned their attention to children, as mutations that the virus can undergo are expected to affect young children, as they have not been vaccinated.
In Albania, it has been recommended so far to vaccinate children aged 12 and over, but parents’ skepticism about the vaccine has made the number of vaccinated children very low, almost negligible.
Only those children who have specific pathologies can be vaccinated. But a few days ago, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in America recommended anti-Covid vaccination to children aged 6 months to 6 years, to prevent a situation that could worsen further due to mutations that occur and do not it is known what autumn will bring.
