Ministry of Health: 1984 tests, 965 infected citizens, two deaths and 843 recovered in the last 24 hours
Due to the increase in the number of citizens affected by Covid19, the Ministry of Health again calls on citizens not to neglect the anticovid vaccination, especially in this period of increased contacts, due to movements during the summer season.
Anyone over the age of 12 can be vaccinated at health centers across the country. Also, the Ministry of Health appeals to all vaccinated citizens to go to the health centers to be vaccinated with the booster dose.
Anti-COVID vaccines reduce the chance of infection and largely avoid hospitalizations and fatalities.
If you have signs of illness or have had contact with a person affected by Covid19, isolate yourself immediately and contact your family doctor to be tested as soon as possible or call the National Emergency at the unique number 127.
We inform you about the situation in the last 24 hours, as follows: 1984 tests have been carried out, of which 965 citizens have tested positive for COVID-19, in these municipalities:
412 in Tirana, 89 in Fier, 81 in Durrës, 39 in Vlorë, 33 in Lushnje, 32 in Kavajë, 27 in Shkodër, 26 in Berat, 20 in Saranda, 18 in Kamëz, from 17 citizens in Divjakë, Dimal, 16 in Himare, 13 in Vorë, from 11 citizens in Lezhë, Krujë, from 10 citizens in Gjirokastër, Tepelën, 9 in Gramsh, 8 in Vau i Dejës, from 7 citizens in Kurbin, Patos, from 6 citizens in Tropoja, Mallakastër, Korçë, 4 in Përmet, from 3 citizens in Malësi e Madhe, Shijak, Roskovec, Delvinë, Skrapar, Poliçan, from 2 citizens in Fushë Arrëz, Selenica, Libohovo, from 1 citizen in Pukë, Kukës, Has, Rrogozhinë, Dibër, Finiq.
There are 9,810 active citizens with Covid19 throughout the country.
Currently, 30 patients are receiving treatment at the COVID3 hospital. In the last 24 hours, there have been two deaths from Sars-Cov2: an 86-year-old citizen from Durrës, a 91-year-old citizen from Tirana.
843 citizens have recovered during the last 24 hours, bringing the number of recoveries to 291,553 since the beginning of the epidemic.
