Fiks Fare broadcast on Friday evening a concern of the residents of the village Tale 2 of Lezha.
The road of this village, built two years ago with an investment of 52 million ALL, has become no worse. In addition to the proper study that has not had as a road, its demolition has been influenced by the numerous interventions that have been made in it, as a result of the extension of the drinking water network. What made the residents more vocal is that a segment of 250-300 meters has completely degraded making the passage of vehicles very difficult. Residents blame the company because they say that the works in its laying in 2000 were done without quality, but also the passage of heavy vehicles has affected according to them.
Fiksi also received a statement from the mayor of Lin Luli Village, who explained that the road started to be demolished in the first 6 months of construction. He added that the terrain needs a proper study as it is often flooded and the ground has no foundation and slips. Asked if this was caused by the works being done by the water supply, the village mayor denies it as the demolition started long before the drinking water line was laid. “The road that in the first 6 months has been broken and repaired again then and again is broken” concludes Mr. Luli.
Fiks Fare also interviewed the engineer of the company that was laying the water pipes. Ergis Topi stated for the journalists that they are working on the side of the road and that at the end of the works they have a contract that they will return the road to its previous condition. “The road has been broken since we started the works in August last year. “Where we have intervened, we will return it to its previous state,” said engineer Topi.
Fiksi was also interested in the Shenkoll Administrative Unit, where the administrator Lina Guri said that it was invested in this road two years ago, but that the investments have not stopped. Once the village water supply is completed, the road will be rehabilitated again. This time he claimed that the road will be subjected to a proper seismological study, as the place where it lies was once under water and groundless ground. “Anyway, the current company that is laying the water pipes has undertaken the repair of the road, and not only this segment but all segments of the coast of Tales” says the administrator Guri, claiming that everything will be finished before the summer season.
