The election of a new president has again brought together the parliamentary groups involved in the negotiations.
The head of the PD parliamentary group, Enkelejd Alibeaj, stressed again that the new head of state must have legitimacy.
“It is important that the one who will sit has legitimacy, this is a condition for the president to be neither one nor the other but of all Albanians. That is a guarantee that serves them. Our position has been made public not only publicly but also in writing they have been offered a position as PD. First by the constitutional rules. The constitution stipulates that in the first three rounds the president must first be elected by 84 votes“, Said Alibeaj.
“It should be a process that is not exclusive but comprehensive“, He added.
