The head of the SP Parliamentary Group, Taulant Balla, has again called on opposition parliamentary groups to propose names for the presidential candidate.
From the city of Fier, Balla said that the following hours at the end of the deadline should be used responsibly and the second round should not be burned, as happened with the first.
He added that he does not know the reason why the PD parliamentary group withdrew from the process and if in the third round the PD will not be included, then the head of state remains in the hands of the SP,
“I note with regret that there is no approach from the opposition to take responsibility for formally proposing candidacies. I do not know why the DP, its parliamentary group, withdrew from a process to bring candidacies, the following hours at the end of this deadline should be used responsibly. It would be unproductive to burn the second round, however we respect the agreement with the parliamentary group of PD and the other two groups, that the first two rounds belong to the proposals of the opposition, but if in the third round it will not enter the process, one thing is for sure, in the fourth round the President or the new President of the Republic will be elected with candidates proposed by us“, Said Balla.
