Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said today that after the second round of talks, “there is no talk” of signing any high-level official document by both Russia and Ukraine.
In a press release, Pestov said that now everything is in the hands of these negotiations between the two parties. He added that the two meetings are an opportunity for delegations to convey to each other all the elements of the position without unnecessary mediators.
“There is no talk yet about (signing) any document. “The talks that took place were a good opportunity to clearly convey our vision for this problem,” Pestov said.
Pestov also added that our visions for this problem have been clearly conveyed and that they have been brought to the attention of the Ukrainian side.
According to the results announced earlier from the second round of talks between a delegation from Russia and Ukraine in Belarus on Thursday, it was said that both sides have agreed on humanitarian corridors for civilians. It is expected today to see how well these decisions taken by both parties will work.
